Lonato del Garda is one of the many villages set around Lake Garda, 2 miles from Desenzano del Garda the largest of the lakeside towns and ideals as a base to explore Lake Garda.
Casa Sandy is 10 minutes walk to Lonato railway station (Milano-Venice line with stops in Lonato)
From here trains can take you to Milano, Brescia, Padova, Verona and Venice without changeover. The guests can leave early in the morning, explore the essential of these cities and come back to the Guest House in the evening. The railway will spare the hassle to driving yourself into busy cities, without mentioning the money and time you can safe by getting to the hearts of these towns by railway.
Lonato del Garda is half an hour drive from BRESCIA MONTICHIARI AIRPORT (served by Ryanair from Stansted airport – London), forty minutes from Verona airport (from any big European cities) and one and a half hour from Milan’s airports (Linate and Malpensa).
Picturesque villages full of character are within easy reach from Desenzano. To mention some driving north: Padenghe, Moniga, Manerba, Saḷ, Gardone Riviera, Toscolano Maderno, Limone del Garda, Riva del Garda, Campione. Driving East and North : Sirmione, Peschiera del Garda, Lazise, Garda.
These villages are all lake-side situated, have medieval centre, cultural and sporting attraction, markets and of course beaches.

Lonato del Garda is located 7/10 min. drive from the exit of A4 motorway of Desenzano del Garda. Once you have left the A4 motorway turn left and follow directions for Lonato del Garda. A meeting point in the village can be organized.
